The PipeCraft GIS
The PipeCraft GIS training course is intended as an introductory course
for those individuals who are interested in learning the fundamentals
of working with the PipeCraft GIS.
The material in this course consists
of:
- An overview of the PipeCraft GIS.
- An introduction to GIS features such
as digitizing, viewing pipeline elevations, and querying pipeline
crossings.
An introduction to GIS
map layers including a definition of the different types of layers,
introduction to feature attributes and background
layers, and information on creating a layer display order and modifying
the features
of the default layers.
Prerequisites
In order to attend this course, students must be comfortable
working in a Microsoft Windows environment.
